The School Day

  • Start of the school day: 8.45am

  • EYFS lunch time 11.45am to 12.35pm

  • KS1 and KS2 lunch time 12.00 noon to 12.50pm

  • End of the school day 3.15pm

Morning registration is at 8.45 am prompt and pupils must be in the classroom at this time.

The playground gates and school doors are opened at 8.40 am so that pupils can walk around to their classrooms. Staff greet pupils as they enter the school to start their day.

The EYFS morning session ends at 11.45 am and the afternoon session starts at 12.15 pm.

The KS1 and KS2 morning session ends at 12 noon and the afternoon session starts at 12.50 pm.

The afternoon session ends at 3.15 pm for everyone. The school is open for 6 hours and 30 minutes each day.

Children going home for lunch should be collected from the school office.

Breakfast Club is available every day. This starts at 7.30 am.

Afterschool Club is also available every day; this starts at 3.15 pm and finishes at 5.55 pm prompt. All pupils must be collected by this time.


Parents are asked to ensure that children are in school no later than the stated start times, enabling teachers to make a prompt start to their lessons.
