PE & Sports Premium

The PE and Sport Premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils.

Since 2013 the government has invested over £600 million on this funding.
This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools.

Schools must use their allocation of PE and sports funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of the physical education (PE), physical activity and sport they provide.

At Rokeby Park Primary we are using our PE and sports premium to:

  • develop and add to the PE, physical activity and sport provision we offer
  • build capacity and capability within the school to ensure that improvements made now will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
